Many Triangle-area residents subscribe to the News & Observer. This
post is to alert you to some "fine print" which is easily overlooked.
On page 2A of the 9/28/12 issue there is a Notice to Readers.
Subscribers who receive the paper on Fridays will find a special ACC
basketball preview section in the November 2 paper ... AND BE CHARGED AN
EXTRA DOLLAR!

Subscribers may decline the special section (and the extra charge) by
calling 1-800-522-4205 or by sending an Email to:
***@newsobserver.com
with "ACC opt out" as the subject. The Email should contain your name
and address.

Thanks for the 'heads up'...We did Opt Out, and suggest that the next
time they do an Opt IN option for those that would like to receive the
special section.
