Yeah, me too.
Most likely she moved for a promotion & a raise. She'd gone about as
far as she could at WTVD-TV. Her co-anchor Larry Stogner had been
there 25 years & wouldn't retire for another 14.

She moved over to Fox 50 WRAZ-TV as Public Affairs Director & became
sole "Ten O’clock News" anchor beginning in April 2002.

Before she came to WTVD-TV she was at WBBH-TV in Ft Meyers, FL as a
general assignment reporter & News Anchor, plus having worked at a
couple of North Carolina radio stations - WSTP-AM & WSOC-FM.

Figure she must have had at least 10 years experience before she came
to WTVD. She was at WTVD-TV for 19 years.

I don't know how long she stayed at WRAZ-TV. There's nothing on their
web pages after the announcement of her taking over as Public Affairs
Director & anchor. That was 15 years ago.

Women tend to have shorter careers in front of the camera. If she
stayed at WRAZ-TV even one year that would give her a 30 year career.

She's probably retired by now.
