North Cross

Nasa has already chased this with Kepler, why,
because they are killing the earth with all their rockets...

Sorry to hear that.

I keep an eye on the place but haven't seen anything relevant in
years.

ghost town with the occasional troll.
The trolls discourage intelligent information exchanges.
They have little information and even less intelligence.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls...
What was his real name?

I always thought it was weird how he and Mulligan lived in these
little trailers in the craptastic part of town, yet considered
themselves the mega geniuses of the Triangle, wiser than anyone who
didn't also believe George W. Bush was the greatest president that
ever lived.
Some of the intentionally funniest shit ever to be posted on usenet
came from those two.
My favorite was always Tom whose last name escapes me, but he was
always handing out DIY advice ... until one day the dog knocked him
off the ladder while he was sweating a joint on a copper pipe and
somehow he set his house on fire & burned it down to the ground.

After that he moved out to Las Vegas & I kind of lost track of him.

Oh, and the Cary Ryan's resturant spagetti story ... but that wasn't
Tom.

Ooops...I just realized I meant to type "UNintentionally funny" in my
prior post.

Another good one was the guy who was convinced one of the staff at
Denny's had wound up a good snot ball and spit it into his coffee, so
he had made it his life's mission to prove his case, first by
convincing people on Usenet (who didn't seem to care) that it had
happened.

Tom Gauldin.

It was a freak accident and unfortunately the dog perished in the fire.

I always though it was too bad about the dog, but I also thought there
was a good bit of negligence involved in the way the fire started.

He didn't clear out the work space before climbing up on the ladder &
when he tipped over there was flammable material in the way where he
dropped the torch.
